Deacon Mike Meyer / Monday, September 11, 2023 / Categories: News Well, this happened today Preaching Racial Justice In late 2021, I was invited to join the Aquinas-Delaplane Preaching Scholars in a Lilly Foundation funded project to develop a book on preaching racial justice. I was blessed to partner with a talented, diverse cohort of fifteen professionals, with each of us contributing a chapter to the book. Well, Orbis Books released our book today for pre-order, and it will be available on September 15! Keeping things simple, we titled the book Preaching Racial Justice, and my contribution, "Preaching Empathy to a White Congregation," appears as Chapter 9. The book is available at Orbis, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Cokesbury, and Christian Book Distributors and is listed by Google Books, Publisher’s Weekly, the Orbis Books Fall Catalogue (p. 19), and the Chicago Public Library.
